statement on palestine

SIMIYYA affirms unyielding solidarity and support for the liberation of Palestine from the brutal Israeli occupation and genocide. The systematic globally-sponsored violence inflicted upon Palestinians exposes the failure of supposed Western enlightenment values to deliver justice when geopolitical complicity corrupts moral clarity.

In the face of such genocidal atrocities targeting Palestinian lives and dignity daily, with the backing of Western states, any claims of universal rights emerging from dominant institutions ring hollow. Our ethical imaginations must start by insisting on accountability and opposition to the apartheid conditions imposed upon Palestinians.

The perseverance of Palestinians in the face of catastrophic injustice holds generative lessons in collective solidarity. By joining in unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian struggle and allowing the Palestinian condition to guide our moral frameworks, we begin constructing vessels for futures free of the tainted universalist pretenses used to justify oppression.

The path towards a just world order lies not simply in resisting colonialism, but in radically re-envisioning humanity free from the parasitic forces of capitalist greed, ethnonationalism, and Western hegemony's threat of forced assimilation or annihilation. We collectively redefine universal values through centering those subject to imperialist violence, starting from Palestine and outwards.

This ethos affirms: Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea. The fight for Palestinian self-determination is interconnected with all struggles against oppression. In unity we persist, until liberation is realized
